While I stand to be corrected, I think that there are only limited years for registers and limited references for wills on Seax at this time, the paid for service supplying much more. I was at Essex Record Office yesterday and, while the 17th October looks promising for the full service to start, the staff behind the counter were unable to confirm what would happen to that which is already available free online. Suppose we'll find out this time next week.
