For the last few years I have been researching my and my wife's families plus the names that appear on twenty or so war memorials and I have just realised that I do not know when I was baptised. I can vaguely remember the occasion as my parents had delayed the event from my infancy because I was born in Woodford at the same time as the flying bombs started to create their havoc on the east and south of London. My Mother decided that it was expedient to leave the area and we moved to Buckinghamshire. I know St John's at Buckhurst Hill well having worshipped there when I stayed with my Grandparents. My Grandparents and Great Grandparents are buried there. I have contacted the church who informed me that all the records are now held by the ERO Would someone be kind enough to look me up?
