I am looking for a birth record, and the names of the parents of Elijah GALLEY, b. 1866 @ Little Leighs, Essex. He appears on the 1891 census for Islington, London with his wife, Fanny Tyson. He also appears on the 1901 census for the Portland Convict Establishment, Portland Dorset. I have been unable to find anyone named Elijah GALLEY on either the 1871 or 1881 census. Haven't found on born in 1866, but found one born in the Chelmsford District in 1865 - Jul/Aug/Sep quarter, 4A 171. Not such a common name so this could well be the one.
