Hi Everyone, Many thanks for your kind advice about SEAX. I can now see what is digitized. Unfortunately, I am no further ahead than I was before... such is the nature of the hunt I suppose. How does one access the other information? The "not digitized", in other words. What I am looking for is some information on the Kelvedon School. Would a mariner's son from Southminster have ended up there? What sort of education would he have received? Thanks again, Jennifer
