Free Reg as it name implies, is free, these are simply transcriptions done by volunteers, the same as Free BMD, it has nothing whatever to do with the digitised records coming on line for which a subscription will be payable. SEAX is the website of Essex Record Office, a small number of PR's have been available free on SEAX for some time, they have now digitised all the PR's and are bringing them on line for a subscription.
