Hello all, For information. Starting this Autumn the North Yorkshire County Record Office at Northallerton will open on Saturdays for a trial period. The CRO will open on the first Saturday of the month from 6th October to 3rd May inclusive (except for 5th April) from 9.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. BUT this is on an appointment only basis - (appointments can be made by contacting them on 01609 777585 or email archives@northyorks.gov.uk ) All their usual facilities will be available but original items must be booked in advance.
