There is a family "rumour" that he may have been born in NZ. But at some time he emigrated to NSW Australia, and married Bridget KEYS in 1875. Do you know if William and Fanny had a son, William among their huge brood of 15? I am waiting on a copy of William and Bridget's marriage certificate.
