Paul, Could you look up the church records for the following please???? My g gpa Charles Pearce Sylvester SMITH b29Jul1830 at Kingston - maybe Kingston-on-Hull. There was a Charles Pears SMITH on IGI b~1831 son of William SMITH & Mary PEARS. Their other kids were: John b 1821 Leeds William b 1823 Leeds Thomas b 2Nov1825 Leeds Richard b 2Aug1829 Kingston-on-Hull John Pears b 1830 Kingston-on-Hull William Pears b 1834 Kingston-on-Hull John b 1837 O & Charles Pears b~1831 Kingston-on-Hull Well I thought I'd found the right one till LDS snaffled them & took them to USA. <sigh> Kingston-on-Hull was I think St Mary's. Maybe the church records will give his whole birthdate. My Charles was a Master Mariner who married & settled in Sydney, NSW. Thanks Paul. Cheers.
