My father was born illegitimately to Ethel Wildgoose (nee Goodison) June 1923. Research has shown that his natural father had the surname of Eaton living in Sheffield possibly Heeley district. The person named on my father's birth registration as "the informant" was John Eaton who lived in Heeley, could he be a relative? Has anyone any links to the surname of Eaton with first names of either John or Horace in Sheffield around 1923/23?
