The Pextons all seemed to live around Waterloo, Lepton, Kirkheaton and were blacksmiths. The Stephensons started off in Wentworth (John b 1801) then Penistone (George b 1831)then Marsh (Anne Helena b 1864). Does any of this tie in with your family?
