    3. List I would be grateful for your advice….. I am in Sevilla, and researching the SHEPHERDSON family, with considerable guidance, help and support from very distant relatives in Canada, the USA and Australia. The problem is that they keep asking me questions that I am unable to answer! and research in England is that bit more difficult than if one of our number was more local to Yorkshire…… My current task is that we suspect that some of our ancestors became Methodists, and consequently we cannot find them in the local church Parish Records. One of our number is asserting that the Methodist church has not published their birth / marriage / death records. Is this so? and if it is so, can their Methodist records be accessed? and how? Thanks in advance for any help Geoff

    3. A good guide to many sources for Methodist research can be found at the Methodist Heritage site at http://www.forsaith-oxon.demon.co.uk/methodist-heritage/research.html The advice there says that Methodist BMD records are usually deposited at local Record Offices HTH Anne On 11 Oct 2007, at 18:55, Geoff Watson wrote: > > List > I would be grateful for your advice….. > I am in Sevilla, and researching the SHEPHERDSON family, with > considerable guidance, help and support from very distant relatives in > Canada, the USA and Australia.
