Hi just a note to previous posting there were over fivehundred Susannas in Norway in 1800 and countless Sunnivas which could translated for ease to Sussana I guess until well into the 1800's patrinomic names such as Jonsson ie Jons son or Jonsdatter Jons daughter were prevailent in Norway thus the practice for some to adopt farm names as surnames. There were also strict rules about naming children in regards to parents and grand parents.
