Interesting, and thanks for your response. I am looking for much earlier information. When we were at the farm, we met Mr Featherstone, the current owner / resident of the farm. He had ownership papers dating back nearly to the time of my STONEHOUSE family, but not *quite* far enough back. It was very interesting to see what he had, but I couldn't help but wish he'd had documentation for just one or two families farther back... always greedy, I guess. Still looking for sks heading for Northallerton.
