I sure am still researching Thomas Iveson! I can tell you on his death certificate it indicated his father's name was John, and his mother Mary. (Didn't indicate Mary's last name) I'm not sure how accurate the info is, the informant was Thomas' wife, Sarah Barker Iveson, who likely had never met his parents. All I know is that Thomas had carved on his tombstone that he was born January 19, 1829 in Pocklington England. I still am amazed that he had that inscribed, if he hadn't I would not know where to look for him. He immigrated to the US (Wisconsin) before 1841 (he appears on tax rolls in 1841) I would sure like to be able to connect him with his IVESON family in England.
