Looking for information regarding a Thomas Coates being a Police Constable in Flaxton between 1853 and 1863. He is listed in the 1861 Census as being a constable but 1851 and 1871 a Shipwright. If no register exists is there a Directory pertaining to these years for this area? Thank you, Susan
