I'm trying to find out which hulks my convict were sent to before being transported. Hi There were many hulks receiving prisoners before they were transported. They were stationery and never sailed from the coast of England. Prisoners were transferred to the convict ships when and where a place became available, I think you would be unable to trace which hulk they were held on but you could probably trace the ship they were transported on. This site is very good for a lot of information and you may be able to find them here. _http://members.iinet.com.au/~perthdps/convicts/ships.html_ (http://members.iinet.com.au/~perthdps/convicts/ships.html) It is a very good site put together by the Perth Dead Persons group who have done a lot of research.
