William Newsome - engineer (known from birth certificate) born 1830-1840 - worked Manager @ Haigh Pit Yard 2nd Gen. Joseph Newsome - DOB approx. 1862 (married @ 21?) - Teamer in coal mine) - married April 21, 1883 - Parish Church - Dewsbury York 3rd Gen. Albert Newsome - DOB Nov/30/1884 Bately Yorkshire - DOD Nov/14/1978 - buried @ Mt Pleasant Cemetery London, ON Canada - married April 19/1924 - United Methodist Church, H-burg (?) England (sorry.. can't read my gramma's writing there!) - electrician in England, Custodian in Canada Ernest Newsome - DOB 1880-1890 (?) Bately Yorkshire - died in WWI; ship was torpedoed on its way to Turkey; first(?) mission... - was married to the daughter of Joseph Wilkinson (mayor of Bately?) 4th Gen. William Albert Newsome (my grandfather) - DOB Jan/14/1932 - married Doreen Clarke August/15/1953 - 4 kids - Jeffrey, Nikki, Stephen & Greg - worked @ London Life Though I am specifically interested in my grandfather's uncle, I'll take any information that may be helpful!
