Hi Listers Would anyone know where a convict would be sent once his trial was over in Doncaster and in York? I'm trying to find out which hulks my convict were sent to before being transported. Their details are: Christopher Briggs sentenced at Doncaster on 17 January 1831 Charles & James Briggs sentenced at York on 9 July 1831 The brothers all ended up on the Gilmore which departed for Van Diemen's Land on 27 November 1831.
