It would be very much appreciated if someone could help me with the lookups of some marriages: I am looking for the marriage of Henry Coates / Coats. Occupation Labourer. Through the IGI I have found five potentials: 08/09/1810 Hardrow, Yorkshire. 24/11/1811, Sledmere, East Yorkshire. 03/06/1811 Great Mitton, Yorkshire. 01/12/1812, Whitby, Yorkshire. 12/05/1818, Long Preston, Yorkshire. The son of Henry, William Coates was born in Old Malton, Yorkshire 24/02/1815 if I have the right one. 1851 census states he was age 35 and born in Old Malton. 1861 census states he was 45 and born in Malton. 1871 census states he was age 55 and born in Malton. I don't yet know if William had any siblings. I haven't as yet found a census return with an entry for Henry Coates / Coats. Any help could be very much appreciaed in pin pointing the correct Henry and thus the correct marriage and spouse. Many thanks and best wishes, Anthony Laing
