My husband's maternal grandmother was Annis whose birth surname is unknown. She married James A. Call in Leeds, England we believe between 1854-1858. Is it possible this is your Annis Call? Our Annis was born 18 Mar 1836 and died 14 Jun 1887. She and James had 8 children, of whom my husband's grandfather was the last, born on Valentine's Day 1876. If this is the same Annis, we would love to know more about her. My husband's parents are deceased and all we know about James and Annis is what someone (we think his grandfather) wrote about the children's births and deaths. One of the daughters (Jessie Annie Call) was married to Marmaduke ("Duke") Simpson Waudby. They lived at Ingleton Lodge, Harrogate, England. Thanks for sharing any information you have.
