They settled in the Littletown area by 1822. Samuel is listed in trade directories and census as comb plate maker, doffing plate maker and whitesmith. He married Hannah Armitage abt 1848, after Rebecca died. Known children were: John (1808) b. Rochedale, mar Mary UNK lived in Mirfield, Yorks. Doffin plate maker Thomas (1813) b. Rochedale? mar Eliza Wallis 1840 in Farnley, Leeds. Immigrated to Staten Island, NY abt 1850. Wesleyan Minister and manufacturer. My 3rd gr-grandfather Elisha (1817) b. Liversedge Mary (1818) b. Liversedge Rebecca (1821) b. Liversedge Rhoda (1826?) b. Liversedge May be the Rhoda that mar John Rea 27 Nov 1819. Samuel (1826?)b Liversedge. There may be more children of this marriage. A James Standring who mar Eleanor Rouse and went to Newburg, NY may have some connections to this family. Seek info on parents of both Samuel and Rebecca and further details about their children.
