Does anyone have info on Richard and Mary WILSON thought to be ship owners in York., both born Yorkshire England. They had 3 children Charles ch 1815 Whitby York Richard ch 1817 Whitby York Emma ch Sep 1823 Whitby York Emma is thought to have come to New Zealand on ship "Slains Castle" early 1840s with a Mr Emmanuel Benehar Ashley EBAN, possibly her tutor. They arrvd in New Zealand as a married couple, no marr has been found, neither has a birth been found for Emmanuel, who was very well educated and articulate.
