Thanks Nuala No wonder immigrants get away with anything in this country. I don't think they would allow it in Australia. In North Wales last year I had to produce my passport, Marriage licenses and death certificates of my deceased husbands. Does any of that make sense. Joyce, I was shocked by your comments about immigrants. There are very many of us both here in the UK and in Australia who are descended from immigrants and in my own case intensely proud to be. I would also like to point out that British Law in its entirety applies to everyone. No one, be they British citizen or immigrant "gets away" with anything, the law takes precedence. As a list member, I would appreciate it if you could keep comments of this nature to yourself.
