Hi Jeff Don't know if this is of any use but in 1891 there is a Mary E. Lord and then in brackets Mary E. Barke living in North Meols Lancashire. She was born in Rochdale in 1863. I put up the name Elizabeth Barke and the birth date 1863 and Ancestry.com gave me this. There are other Barke's on the same page and Mary's mother is also on the same page. Mary's mother could have been Barke before her marriage and had her then. Why would Ancestry.com give me this I wondered.
