A death record for daughter lists Thomas birth place as Raskill -- his wife is listed as born in Yorkshire. Using Gazeteer see Raskill likely Raskelf -- What riding are the records in? I see a family who had Thomas Welch b 1803 (and other siblings) in Raskelf -- but this Thomas son of John died the same year and the records don't seem to include 1805.
