    2. > Kellington baptisms > > 27 Jun 1870 FAITH (dau) HOPE (son) CHARITY (dau) to > > JOSEPH & MARTHA DREW of Hutgreen a labourer copy> If you go to the 1861 census for the parish of Burnsall, township of Cracoe, Skipton RD (RG9 Piece 3191, folio 59 page 4) there you will see 3-year-old girl triplets called Faith, Hope and Charity STOCKDALE. They were the daughters of a 31-year-old labourer Andrew Stockdale and his wife Nancy 25, and were definitely triplets because their births also appear at FreeBMD as being registered together on the same page in the March quarter of 1858 at Skipton, vol 9a page 49. The Stockdale triplets eventually appeared in some editions of the Guinness Book of Records as being the longest living British triplets, all surviving well into their 80s. Naturally, they figure in my one-name study. Do you know whether the Drew children were triplets or all just baptised together? -- Roy Stockdill thought you may know some Roy, all girls too. I had a personal reply to say she heard of triplets girls born in Victoria, Australia (no date given) 'Yours' did well, living into their 80's & in the Guinness book too. Thanks for sharing. No, it didn't list any birthdate in the records book, so checked on freeBMD & registered at Pontefract in Sept. quarter 9c 81 are the three children. The son is down as named JOHN HOPE DREW. Must to have second thoughts after, as the name JOHN is not in the register book. take care, Maureen Members Interests Link Officer for Pontefract FH Society _www.pontefractfhs.org.uk_ (http://www.pontefractfhs.org.uk/)
