I was wondering if anyone could please lookup the marraige certificate of Alfred Slater (c1866) to Maggie/Maggy Horsman (1876) in York, Yorkshire in 1898. This is my last resort to find info on him and his family as i can't find him in any census apart from 1901, in which it says he was born in Clapton,London. I would be really greatful! I say "potential" because, of course, there are two other names on the page. However, Alfred Slater and Maggie Horsman are certainly there.
