They were the daughters of a 31-year-old labourer Andrew Stockdale and his wife Nancy 25, and were definitely triplets because their births also appear at FreeBMD as being registered together on the same page in the March quarter of 1858 at Skipton, vol 9a page 49. The Stockdale triplets eventually appeared in some editions of the Guinness Book of Records as being the longest living British triplets, all surviving well into their 80s. Naturally, they figure in my one-name study. Do you know whether the Drew children were triplets or all just baptised together? -- Roy Stockdill Editor, Journal of One-Name Studies Guild of One-Name Studies website: www.one-name.org Newbies' Guide to Genealogy & Family History: www.genuki.org.uk/gs/Newbie.html "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."
