Carolyn, All I have from Bridget's marriage cert is her birth place of Clare, Ireland, father John Wilson - farmer, mother Margaret Heran or Henan, very hard to read. I have a birth cert for one of the sons which quite clearly says mother as Margaret Hannion but neither says where they are from. I cannot find any Hannions in Ireland so suspect they are from Scotland originally. Could also be from Yorkshire of course. Or anywhere if it comes to that. I think I found Hannions in Scotland at one stage. I am on the Wilson surname list but mostly Americans. Cheers.
