My wife is a Devereux descendant, NSW, OZ, and her forebear Henry Devereux was a brother to Andrew's mother. I too lost Andrew and family after the 1891 census and didn't have this knowledge of the Gommershall family as there were several with the same name and age. I guess the 1900 US census if indexed might throw them up but where to start???? Please come back to ljhewett@ihug.co.nz and I will forward you some text to elaborate further.
