Re Williams marriage. Service performed by the curate Henry King. Witnesses were Thomas Bailey, Mary Ward, James Sanderson, Mary Collier & Dorothy Ellecker. (Mary Collier ??? must be related to me somehow. haha) 2 other marriages around that time - William Sanderson 32yrs married Betty Granger 25yrs on 12th July 1825. William was a thread spinner. They had a son John baptised 24th August 1829. William Sanderson 20yrs married Mary Sonley 22yrs on 6th May 1826. William was a hawker They had a daughter Jane baptised 3rd Nov 1826. Deaths - Thomas Sanderson c1810 died 5th Oct 1831 James Sanderson c1807 died 19th July 1834 Richard Sanderson c1771 died 11th March 1835 Mary Sanderson c1784 died 20th Nov 1835 Betty Sanderson c1794 died 22nd June 1840 - living at Half Way House, Lastingham. With the Maxwell deaths, it looks like there was some disease going about in early 1830's. No other baptisms or marriages so it looks like both families were incomers.
