Hello from the United States. How it works here is that each state has the option of signing a contract with Ancestry for on site access. Anyone wishing to use the Ancestry program must use it at the library. No home access via the library. Since state tax dollars are used to pay for this service, anyone can take advantage of it. Ancestry has designed a special program for the libraries called Ancestry Library Edition. Donna
