My mycroft ancestors were, in the majority, from Shirland and Alfreton but BMD's often registered in Belper. Some certainly moved to Sheffield particularly my grandmother Alice (b1894), parents Matthew and Annie Elizabeth Hill. She married John Webster and had only one child, Doris, my mother.
