Hello Lynda, You are welcome. My husband reminded me we had visited that pub a few times many years ago. I was born in Acomb but before leaving York we lived just across the road in Bishophill and called for a drink on our way into town on a couple of occasions, it was very dated but had a nice atmosphere. I dream of returning to York in the future, it has changed so much since we left in 1980, but my heart will always be there. Good luck with your research.
