    3. I wondered if anyone is researching the BROOK/E family of Wakefield. Edward BROOKE and Ann ETHERINGTON had at least three children I found that Edward Freeman BROOKE was christened 9 Sep 1793 at All Saints, Wakefield, Yorkshire, England(Familysearch.com P018302 1780 - 1812 ) Father Edward, mother Ann Etherington He was killed at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1812 He had siblings Elizabeth BROOK 16 APR 1792 All Saints, Wakefield, Yorkshire Samuel BROOK 18 JUN 1794 All Saints, Wakefield, Yorkshire Thomas Volunteer BROOK christened 20 OCT 1796 All Saints, Wakefield, Yorkshire, England I believe that somewhere down the line they may be related to ORMOND Thanks Maggie Luscombe Families of interest in and around Yorkshire HUCKLE, SLINGO, CURTIS, LOWTHER/LOUTHER, BRUNYEE,

    3. Brain dead.! Of course it was 1805! The familt have a newspaper from then showing that he was one of the dead. However I cannot find anything more on his family. Never mind - Edward Freeman Brooke was a brave lad who died at only 14 for his country.
