It has been quite a few years since I posted the Wrigley,Brierley inquiry...and since then I have gained a significant amount of information. First, contrary to family myth, there are no Brierleys in my family tree. Edmund Wrigley of Knowl, Saddleworth married Jane Milnes. Two of their sons emigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Edward is my ancester. He had a son named Joseph b. 1830 but he died in 1840. The family business was that of clothiers and Edward founded the Good Intent Woolen Mill in Philadelphia. I don't think we are closely connected but if you have more information I would be happy to see if we link up.
