They had 9 children: Jabez, Robert, Elijah, Isabella, Samuel, Martha Ann, Mary Ann, Benjamin, and Ruth. How do i use the Parish and Probate records to find Samuel's birth in(about)1812? This is an officially extracted entry because it has an M batch no., as opposed to a private LDS submission (and if you don't understand the difference, it is fully explained at my Newbies' Guide website, URL below). The Source Call reveals it to be from the bishop's transcripts for Thorner, and these, too, are explained in my Newbies' Guide. To see the actual parish registers and/or BTs you can order them on film through an LDS Family History Centre. There is an entry on the IGI for the christening of Samuel Harrison in Thorner in 1812, but it is a patron submission.
