Three years ago I was able to visit Seamer and St. Martin's Church - researching my ggg grandparents marriage (Mary Agar to John Hardwick; 1 Dec 1827). I'm sitting here right now without my notes so names are escaping me; but was given a wonderful spur of the moment tour of the Church by Mary and the next morning, Sunday, the pastor looked up records for me before service. He was so gracious and was to be my contact to find Mary's family as we had to leave that morning. At the time the genealogy service was moving into new headquarters and was closed for that period of time. By the time I was able to get back to my family research, St. Martin's pastor had retired. So if you could find out any hints about Mary and John's extended family, I would be very greatful. They had immigrated to Canada by 1831 and John's surname had become Hardick. Thanks so much for any tips you may have. Maureen Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
