The signature says E Douthwaite and I rather suspect the person is elderly at that time, she mentions Cyril and I suspect it could be her grandson who is missing in the war. I have a letter and would like to return a copy of it to the family. It is very interesting and I feel the family might want to know what happened when their grandmother lived at Hindlea in the town of Broughton.
