Hi Roy, Sorry I didn't have time to reply yesterday and spent the day thinking it all over while I was working, infact have just turned on computer to do so this morning when received your next one. I am very grateful and thankful for all the time and effort you have gone to on my behalf. All the info you sent me is exciting to read through and as I had nothing, sounds as though it could well be the correct info I need for my Rachael BROWN. Yes I agree that she must have put herself about a bit, sounds like so many today! Will now be interesting to see if any family reply. Were you unable to find her and her children in 1841 & 1851 cenus's? I have tried but none seem to tally. Was interested in the use of son-in-law and what it meant then, thankyou. The family weren't really talked about when I was growing up and I only decided to do the family tree after my mum died 10 yrs ago, so only had my granddads name and one of his sisters to go on. Have done it all via the net until now seeming to come to a brick wall where nothing seemed to fit for Rachael B. I am a widow on limited means so the cost of some sites has meant I had to look for other ways for help. Its the first time I have written to the message board for help and your response was amazing. Will let you know if anything else comes along to verify it all. Thanking you once again, Jenny --- On Wed, 23/9/09, Roy Stockdill <[email protected]> wrote: From: Roy Stockdill <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [YORKSHIRE] Rachael BROWN of Horncastle, 1800-1880's To: [email protected] Received: Wednesday, 23 September, 2009, 11:59 PM If Jenny Goldsworthy is out there in New Zealand, I would be grateful if she would let me know whether she saw my two lengthy messages re her above query and whether I have solved the mystery for her.
