On the 1911 Census I have found a place of birth for an ancestor as Toplift in Yorkshire. This name does not appear in my road atlas. If anyone can help with finding where it is I would be very appreciative. My suspicion/hope is that it might be somewhere in the vicinity of Leeds - perhaps in the Wakefield or West Ardsley area.
