Hi Listers Is there anyone researching the name Tilburn, I am looking for Hannah Tilburn b Arkingarthdale, Yorkshire abt 1869. I have her mother Barbara Tilburn who later married Robert Airey. Hannah had an older sister Elizabeth. At the time of the 1871 census Hannah and Elizabeth were living with their Barbara and her husaband Robert Airey. In 1881 Hannah was staying with her grandmother Dianah Stones and her second husband Robert Stones. Dianah was previously married to James Tilburn. Hannah married William Edward Stairmand but I haven't found her marriage. I have found a marriage of William to a Hannah Elizabeth Raine in 1888 which fits with other information I have so I am wondering if Hannah was previously married? I have a copy of a birth certificate for William & Hannah's son who was born in 1889 which gives mother's maiden name as Tilburn Any clues welcome. Many thanks, Kath
