Official adoption started in 1927, you don't give any indication of the years you are trying to find information on. If the person or persons are still living you should not be using the boards but try the Salvation Army or other sources. If before 1927 adoptions were a private affair and paperwork is unlikely to have survived. If 1927 on you would need to be the person themselves to request further information.
