Of course the obvious thing to do is get the marriage certificate for the father's names, then check out both families in the previous census. I am sorry to have to say it yet again - and at risk of incurring criticism - but it appears to me that there are those who simply are too lazy to do their own research and expect others to do it for them. Either that or they are unwilling to spend any money.
