Hello Syd I was a Spence but my family originated in Ripon and Grewelthorpe. There are 2 Emily Spence born Knaresborough 1. Emily Jane reg Sep 1853 9a 91 dau of William and Mary Ann - William a butcher. This is probably the bride of Robert Foster. 2. Emily Lucy reg Sep 1857 9a 100 I have not been able to find her on census [Ancestry] - nor any death nor marr registered [FreeBMD] If you are certain it is Emily Lucy you want then her BC would give parents etc. If Emily Jane then I have further info.
