I have the records for Great Ayton from 1600-1812, however the period 1641-1661 has been lost, which, frustratingly, is exactly the period you need. I've also looked in the earlier records of which the marriages of the relevant years (1601, 03, 05, 07, 08, 10, 14, 17 & 25) survive intact, but I can't find any evidence of his parents' marriage either. Congratulations on getting back so far, and I hope you find what you need, Kate Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hello, Kate, Thank you for your message. If it relates to my Peter LANTTHROPPE, can you tell me how Great Eyton relates to Ingleby Greenhow? Peter was probably born in about 1600 +/- a few years. Would there be any record of his birth in the early l600's? Thank you again for your offer, and I notice that you're being deluged with requests. Please place mine at the end of your line.
