We lived in Grinton for a year and rented from a relative of my Spouse.A neighbour was Sanda Wood and wrote many books on the local names. All of these names were found in ithe famhist of Richard Birkbeck.We had some ten of her books and we lost contact with Sandra when we moved South. Since then in our many moves a large box of Sandra's books along with others "walked."We would like to replace them but appear to be as rare as a Gutenberg.
