Hello, Kate, How early are your records? I have a Peter LANTTHROPPE married to an Elizabeth ORWYNNE on 19 November 1644 in Ingleby Greenhow in the North Riding. I have Elizabeth's parents but not Peter's. Do you have any records for this time period? I have most of my SPENCER family records, beginning in on 1 May 1759. My SPENCER family may have been around Keighley, but I'm not sure. I have many documents from in northern Nottinghamshire, the area around Worksop. Kate, could you please look up the parish registers for Yorkshire? I am searching for the christening for JOHN ATKINSON born in 1827. His father is THOMAS Atkinson. I do not know definitely his mother though it could be Mary Ann or Sarah. I understand that a John Atkinson was christened on the 24th of May 1829 at Hutton Rudley and am puzzling about whether he is my ancestor. Can you find another JOHN ATKINSON born and christened in Hunslet in 1827 with a father Thomas?
