I'm trying to trace me GG Granfather John Edward Rodgers [sic] SAVILLE b. 1856 @ Myton. I can find no record of his parents as on the censuses he's living with his grandparents Edward Ryley and Hannah nee Saville. I've found some records where she's listed as Hannah Burgan, but on her marriage to Edward her father's name was John Saville, which leads me to believe she may have had some illigitimate children. I can find no record of a Burgan-Saville marriage, however she had 3 children, Charles (b Selby 1833), Elizabeth (b Selby 1835) and Ann (b Selby 1837) all with the surname Saville (plus a daughter from her marriage to Edward called Hannah Ryley b Selby 1840). I have found the record of John's marriage to Ellen Ruth Walker (nee Smith) in Skirbeck, Lincs, 1893, where he lists his father's name as HENRY, but I can't find Henry Saville anywhere in relation to the family!
