Thankyou for the information supplied, unfortunatly it does not go further than the information I hold and what still creates my dead end with the marriage of WILLIAM (cerca 1750) and MARY CATELY in 1772. the WILLIAM who married SARAH WAITE in1797 was the first son of MARY & WILLIAM who had 7 surviving children and the JOB you refer to was the 5th whose line comes down to me. The William Cately who was a witness at their marriage must have been Mary's brother. What I was hoping for, was to find the parents of WILLIAM(cerca 1750) or a baptism record for him. Many thanks anyway, Frank.
